A little message I always give my paraprofessionals at the start of a new school year

~Welcome to Room 38~
The future is in my classroom today, a future with an unmeasured amount of potential.  My classroom is a stepping-stone for students to the next step.  I have a vision for my students to succeed and become more independent in their daily activities. The students will learn responsibility and good citizenship.  My students will be welcomed into a structured and nurturing environment that will motivate them to reach and surpass their greatest potentials.  As paraeducators you are a valuable part of this vision and your daily interactions with my students will be a culminating factor in their success.  These students are not only my students, but they are yours as well.  As a paraeducator you will work with them, help them, prepare activities for them, and will look out for their best interests.  Welcome to the beginning of a wonderful and fulfilling year. I look forward to working TOGETHER to move OUR students forward.
